Guess the Movie from the Picture

Guess the Movie from the Picture is a film quiz built from faces. You see a photo of someone who worked on the mystery movie and have six tries to name it. It starts with the supporting cast, then comes the director, and last of all the two stars whose faces were on the poster. Every wrong guess or skip adds the next photo, so the puzzle gets easier as you go.

✅ How to play

1. Look at the photo, start typing a title and pick the film from the list. The list has 6,000 movies released between 1996 and 2025.
2. Wrong? Another face appears next to the first one. The label under each photo tells you whether it is the cast, the director or a lead star.
3. Right title but the wrong film, for example a remake? The square turns yellow: try the other version.
4. After three misses you see the year, after four the genre.

✅ Daily movie, Unlimited and easy mode

The daily movie is the same for everyone and changes at midnight. Share your result as a row of coloured squares without spoiling the answer. Unlimited serves one film after another from 700 well-known titles and does not repeat a film until you have played them all. Remember names better than faces? All portraits come from Wikimedia Commons and are published under free licences (Creative Commons or public domain). The photographer and the licence of every photo are listed under “Photo credits”, with a link to the original file after each round.
