Squaredle

Squaredle turns one square of letters into a whole pile of words. Nothing is hidden behind a guess here: every answer is already sitting on the board, waiting for you to trace a path through letters that touch — sideways, upright or cornerwise. Four letters is the shortest thing that counts, and somewhere in there a much longer word winds across the entire square. That one is the headline answer, and it is rarely the first you spot.

✅ The rules

1. Swipe over the letters to build a word, or just type it and hit Enter.
2. A square may serve only once inside a single word — but reuse it as much as you want in the next one.
3. The panel beside the board keeps score by length, so you can see exactly where the gaps are.
4. Obscure words that never made the checklist are accepted anyway and go to a separate tally, so a wild attempt costs you nothing.

✅ Two ways to play

Under Today's puzzle everyone gets the same board, which is swapped for a fresh one overnight; weekday squares measure 4×4 and the weekend brings a roomier 5×5. Walk away mid-solve and it keeps your words, and days finished back to back build up a streak. Prefer not to wait? Unlimited hands you another square the moment you ask, in whichever of the two sizes you feel like — no limit, no calendar, which is rather the point of this site.

✅ Getting unstuck

Work through roughly two fifths of the checklist and the board starts helping: a small figure on each square counts the answers that begin there, while squares with nothing left to give go pale, so you stop wasting attention on them. Beyond that, the Hint button opens up a missing answer two letters at a time, and tapping anything already on your list replays the route it took across the grid.
